Outcast Guardians - A Tabletop RPG
Outcast Guardians is a Tabletop RPG ruleset and setting developed by Aurora Storialis.
As a setting, it takes place in the fantasy world of Aethur, where each human can channel one the four elements through their magic wooden weapon. Those who can channel 2 elements, known as Pseudos, are feared for their power. An enclave of Pseudos - The Outcast Guardians - seek to carve out a space for themselves and people like them in Aethur.
Players assume the roles of Outcast Guardian members and set off on an adventure that may change Aethur forever.
As a ruleset, the roleplaying rules enrich character relationships and enable a communal narrative. The game features a diceless system for combat, skills, and everything else. Players have strong agency over their characters actions due to lack of random chance. Combat is quick and simple to pick up, but does not lack depth.
